  15. Hello and welcome to the first issue of a brand new diskmag  aimed 
  16. at all Atari users,  and there's a bit for you who also own a PC!
  17.

  19. This mag is shareware, and you should send me £1 if you like it. 
  20. This  will entitle you to the access code for the registers' menu, 
  21. giving you further pleasure. All contributers to the diskzine will 
  22. get this code free.

  24. How to use the B.O.S.
  25. ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
  26. Well, I've tried to make it as easy as possible. To select a menu 
  27. or  article to read,  simply use the arrow keys and  press  space 
  28. over the highlighted option to load.  When reading a file, use the 
  29. mouse  to  select  the options,  or use the  keys,  as  listed  by 
  30. pressing HELP.  Use the arrow keys to move the text,  and help  is 
  31. accessed   by  pressing  the  HELP  key,  UNDO returns it to  the 
  32. text.  Pressing  Q will exit the displayer.

  34. Please remember that all titles have are separated, so don't select them!

  36. Well, what's happening in this issue then? 
  37. ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
  38. Scripts for Alien  3  and  Red Dwarf, loads of info, news and help, 
  39. competitions, STOS help, and much, much more.

  41. On the disk there are a number of programs that accompany the articles
  42. in the mag. These must be installed from the file INSTALL.PRG. Follow the
  43. instructions as listed in the HOW TO EXTRACT ARCHIVES article. To encourage 
  44. registrations, I have made this installation program password protected. So,
  45. if you want to install and use any of these giveaways, you must register!
  46.  
  47. Please note that you must have 1 megabyte of memory or more to run the 
  48. install proggy, so, if you only have 512k, upgrade! You can obtain these 
  49. files ready installed if you send me an S.A.E. and a disk, provided you 
  50. have registered of course!

  52. The giveaways include loads of STOS, assemlber and GFA source code, a handy 
  53. program for Deskjet users, a Crackart conversion proggy, a fully working 
  54. assembler and debugger and a load of PC stuff for those of you who also 
  55. own a PC!

  57. Don't forget, this is Shareware, so please register it, but please 
  58. do  spread it,  copy it,  upload it,  give it to your freinds  and 
  59. contacts.

  61. Also there's a small program called DESKMORF. It runs when you quit this,
  62. And you are required to wait for a while, about half a minute. Don't turn
  63. off the computer as when it's ready, your desktop will look ace!
  64.  
  65. And, for your enjoyment, there's a great little game called CANNONS. It is 
  66. very addictive and will keep you occupied for hours! This is available to all, 
  67. whether you have or haven't registered and can be run directly from the disk.

  69. CANNONS folder, full instructions are in the game!

  71. Also, on the disk is the file, OPINION.BOS. This is a user 
  72. questionaire and will help us to improve the B.O.S. for you.

  74. benefit you, the reader too!

  76. Remember to load up the second disk, there's loads more stuff to read.
